Hotel Golden Plateau

Golden Plateau left me with the worst restaurant and hotel experience I’ve had. I was there during an emergency, but the staff showed no urgency or care. We asked for basics, a blanket and a bowl, and were refused both. After asking again and again, we still got no help, so I had to go elsewhere for assistance. No apology, refund, or follow-up came afterward. This wasn’t a small inconvenience. Their response made an already bad emergency worse. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and insensitive. They argued among themselves and ignored guests, with no organization or coordination. Requests were ignored or brushed off rudely, and the reception desk acted as if listening was a favor. I felt deliberately ignored. No courtesy, no effort, and no basic manners. Every request seemed like a burden. There were no greetings or smiles, just cold stares. I’ve had better service in small lodges, and even budget hotels have shown more humanity. Cleanliness was below average too. The tables were sticky, the surroundings felt unhygienic, and repeated complaints didn’t get anyone to take responsibility. For a place that charges a premium, this was unacceptable. The place seems focused on money rather than service, and management should be accountable and take this feedback seriously. Hotel staff need to learn empathy. Hospitality means more than food and beds, and Golden Plateau completely failed at it. I wouldn’t recommend Golden Plateau to anyone. If you care about service, consider other hotels or restaurants in the area. It wasn’t worth the money or peace of mind. I expected at least average treatment, not complete negligence. I’m sharing this so others don’t go through the same. This place shouldn’t get more than one star. Reviews should reflect real experiences, and mine was terrible. I’ll never set foot here again. Golden Plateau, learn what hospitality means. A solid 0/10 from me.

The food at the hotel was really good, and the service was good too. I had a good time there.

The service at Golden Plateau was extremely poor, slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. Staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful throughout my visit. It didn’t live up to the price or hype, and I won’t return or recommend it. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

The room was in a pathetic state. Someone had peed in the toilet and left it unflushed, the toilet seat was broken, and the hand shower kept leaking. The AC remote was missing when I checked in around 1 am, after arriving late at night yesterday. I called reception, and the guy said he’d send someone. When that person arrived, he told me to climb onto the table and switch the AC on and off myself. Since it was so late, I let it go. When I asked the reception guy to help change rooms or find another solution, he blamed me for not reporting the problems during the room check. I hadn’t realized it was my job to make sure rooms were ready for customers. I could have overlooked the rest, but the man at reception was the rudest person I’ve ever met. He spoke as though he were paying me to stay there. A colleague of mine stayed here some time ago and had the same issues with the reception guy. I don’t know how they hire people, but I won’t stay here again and will spread the word about the pathetic service. Everything was pathetic. Don’t book if you care about your money and experience.
