The only real downside for us was how many mosquitoes there were. Apart from that, the place was wonderful. All four of us left feeling completely relaxed, and we slept much better. We also learned meditation and yoga, and the daily schedule was well organized. With the staff’s help, we were able to adjust our pace and think about what habits to continue after leaving, putting the Ayurvedic spirit into practice. We loved the food. The chef was amazing, and we looked forward to the changing daily vegetarian menu. It never felt monotonous, and the dining area was clean. Our rooms were cleaned thoroughly and efficiently every day, and the whole hospital felt bright and clean. The nurses and massage therapists were lovely, reminding us about precautions and treating us like family. That made us feel safe during treatment. We were also happy with the pharmacy’s products and service. It was small but felt like a treasure trove, with everything we needed. One of our group is a pharmacist, so we felt especially welcome there. Dr. Harin stood out for being professional, patient, and attentive. He listened carefully, explained our symptoms clearly, and gave us a comprehensive treatment plan. The reception staff were also very patient when explaining things on the day we arrived, even though our English isn't great. From the first email booking, the hospital team had been warm and attentive. Doctors, massage therapists, nurses, pharmacists, cleaners, restaurant staff, and maintenance staff all welcomed us and worked with real dedication. My friends and I, a group of four, visited The Health Village on November 29, 2025, and I highly recommend it.

At the Health Village, I felt right at home. The staff were kind and experienced, and the treatment was very good. I saw guests looking much better and glowing after their treatments. Amazing Ayurveda!

I spent a month and a half here altogether, doing a three week panchakarma program followed by an internship, and it was a great experience. The location was quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful river view. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was good. The food was tasty and healthy, and they accommodated my allergies. As a woman travelling solo from abroad, I was nervous about arriving alone. The health village took great care of me and helped at every step, including picking me up from and dropping me at the airport. They supported me during treatment and made sure I felt comfortable. Everyone was friendly and always smiling. It feels like another home now, and I look forward to coming back.

The fresh diet meals tasted homemade, and the detox and rejuvenation treatment we chose was really relaxing. Dr. Harin understood our requests and concerns and guided us through the stay. The therapists were friendly and punctual with the treatments, and the front office staff were always helpful. Our package was a full success, and we left feeling relaxed and well rejuvenated. The river Periyar beside the property is a lovely extra, and we also enjoyed celebrating onam festival here. The setting and location make it a conducive place for rejuvenation. The staff are friendly, the care is excellent, and the food suits the healthy lifestyle they encourage. A great place for Ayurvedic treatment, and I’d definitely recommend it.
