The place is right beside Dal Lake, which made the location great. I stayed four nights, and the rooms were actually very clean. The staff were very familiar to us. All in all, it’s a great place to stay with family in Srinagar.

I was there on 4 and 5 Jan, 2026, for two nights. The rooms were beautiful, and I really loved how the staff behaved. There was one tall guy on staff who was very friendly, but I don’t know his name. I hope someone can tell me who he is, maybe with a picture so I can recognize him. Owner, please tell me his name. I hope to visit again. Very good experience 😄

The sheets were dirty and stained. When I asked for fresh ones, they said the stains were from them being wet. The TV and doorbell weren’t available either.

Everything else was alright. The only issue was the room lighting, which wasn’t good, apparently because it was the off season.

There was no intercom or even a doorbell in the room to call for service, and there was no hot water even in winter. The floor carpet was very dirty, and it didn’t seem to be cleaned. The manager was very rude. The bedsheet was dirty with xxxx spots. When I asked for a change, they refused and said it was the best they had. This was the worst service I’ve experienced. I could write a whole essay about how poor the service and facilities were.
