Villa Vanakothi by Westbay

The food, especially the local dishes, was a highlight for us. Villa Vanakothi also has plenty to do, from the private pool and landscaped lawn to the library corner, play area, mini gym, and barbecue space near the pool. We had relaxed evenings there and enjoyed time together as a family. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and well cared for, with thoughtful touches throughout. It sits in peaceful natural surroundings, but nearby attractions are still convenient to reach. We came away with wonderful memories, and the stay made us want to return.

We spent two days here and enjoyed the local food, along with the pool, lawn, little library, and play area. The villa is comfortable, well maintained, and surrounded by nature. Even though it’s only 200 meters from the Kolhapur Ratnagiri Highway, the setting feels quiet and secluded. It’s also a convenient base for places like Pawankhind, Manoli dam, Aambeshwar Devrai, and Sada point at top of aamba ghat. A good spot for a relaxing family stay, with attractions nearby.

We spent a week at Vankothi amba Ghat with family, and it was a memorable stay. The property was clean and comfortable, with a soothing atmosphere and amenities. Team Vanakothi made sure the food was served hot, and we enjoyed the menu. Mr. Gupte - Owner guided us to Devrai, a local dam, and a place to spot fireflies, which made those outings enriching. There’s also a birdcage and friendly dogs to play with if you like. The owner makes sure the pets are kept from guests who aren’t comfortable around them. We visited holy places in Kolhapur, jyotiba, and Ganpatipule, as well as aarey warye beach, its famous zip line, and guhagar beach. All were within about two hours of vankothi.
