Ambala Haveli

Captain Harish made our visit feel special with his warm, attentive service. He kept things moving on time and checked in regularly to see if we were comfortable. The parathas were a highlight too, hot, soft, flavorful, and served with delicious accompaniments. Some of the best I've had in a long time. Great ambiance and food, with service to match. Highly recommended! 👏🍽️✨

Vir Bahadur ji was so helpful and courteous. He suggested some good options for our kid. We enjoyed the kulcha, saag makke ki roti, hot and sour soup, Haveli special sandwich, and a very nice chai served in kulhad. The food was very good, the staff were courteous, and the place was neat and clean. The washrooms were so, so clean too. Overall, a great experience.

We stopped at Ambala Haveli on 5 th Dec, 12 kms from Ambala on the left when driving toward Delhi. There’s an AC restaurant and a fast food outlet, but I didn't visit the restaurant, so no comments on that. We ordered pao bhaji and masala dosa from the fast food side, and I’d avoid that outlet. The prices were above 200₹ each, far too much by fast-food standards, and there was no AC, no comfortable sofas, and flies all around. The dosa itself was good, but we left most of the sambhar. It tasted like mixed vegetables in gravy, with peas and carrot pieces, and no proper taste. The pao were tiny, about 1” square when normal ones are at least 2” square. They were roasted hard and had lost their taste, and the bhaji had no taste at all. No taste, I repeat. There is lots of open parking. The washrooms were 5* clean, with no water on the floor and a cleaner present all the time. Tea in clay cup was tasty, though.

Those fast-food items at Haveli were awful, and the prices make it worse. The tea was 43rs, bread pakda 55rs, and veg sandwich 130rs. I've never had anything worse than those three. Overly expensive and shitty taste. 🤮🤮🤮
