SPOT ON 43045 Hotel Vivek Plaza

The food was the part I still remember most. The staff served aloo paratha with curd for breakfast and rajma rice for lunch, and both were delicious. I stayed at hotel Vivek Plaza during a Shimla trip in the first week of June 2016. It's about 300 metres from the railway station, away from traffic noise, and the rooms were very clean. Service was good too.

I had a really nice stay. The meals were prepared hygienically, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the hotel was free from sound pollution. Staff behaved well and the service was good, all at a reasonable price.

The sewage drain right outside stinks so badly that you can't sit in the hotel for even five minutes. Pigs are all around, and since the place stays empty, they don't even clean the rooms or toilets. I booked through Goibibo, checked in, got ready, then left for work and switched hotels that evening. I ended up paying twice for one night.

Since my first stay at Vivek Plaza Hotel, I've returned whenever I'm in Ambala. The rooms are furnished well and hygienic, and the service is very good. I was especially impressed by how the staff treated me, even late at night.
