Hotel Alankar Greens by OYO Rooms

I was in Ambikapur for work and spent two nights at Hotel Alankar Greens. I liked the meals in the restaurant, and the service and hospitality were good. My room was a comfortable size, but the cleanliness needed attention. Better housekeeping would make this a great choice for business trips.

The standout for me was the cleanliness, and the reception staff were especially kind, helpful, and compassionate. Hotel Alankar Green is in a great spot in Ambikapur, with superior rooms too. One of the best places to stay here, and I’d recommend it to anyone coming to Ambikapur.

The food was really disappointing and unhygienic. My biryani was mostly oil, including the gravy. I asked for another plate, but found a human hair in it. The third serving had rice that looked as though it had been fried in very old black oil. Completely unacceptable. This used to be Panchsheel Restaurant, where the quality was good. I hope management improves both the hygiene and the food.

The food tasted good, and the hotel and rooms were clean. Housekeeping was very good, and the staff were nice and helpful.
