The homely feel made it easy to settle in, and being right by the sea was lovely. The food was delicious, and the staff were among the most courteous we’ve met. They made our anniversary feel special, arranging a thoughtful menu and a nicely decorated table facing the water. Mr. Ajay Joshi, Manisha Ma’am, and Rakesh Bhaiya all deserve a special mention for their care and hospitality. We had a memorable stay and would happily return. A peaceful spot for couples, families, or backpackers looking to enjoy the beach and some quiet time.

We stayed for three days and found it calm and beautiful. The beach is private, very clean, and hardly busy. The hosts and staff are so welcoming that it doesn’t feel like staying in a hotel, and the food is delicious and home-style. A lovely choice for nature lovers wanting a peaceful break and time together. Highly recommend 🌊🤍

Ambolgad is a wonderful, lesser-known place to get away from the crowds, with a clean, untouched beach right by the property. The fresh Kokani food tasted homemade, and when I asked, they prepared birdyachi usal, which was outstanding. Rakesh and Nikesh gave excellent service. We were also pleasantly surprised that they had a sound system and microphones for karaoke.

I came back in January 2026 after enjoying a stay here about nine years earlier, but this visit was disappointing. The rooms and facilities seemed poorly maintained, service was poor, and the car parking arrangement was inadequate. The location and good food are the only things in its favor. Other nearby resorts have the same location and good food, with much better service overall. Given how things are now, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

It’s quite secluded, and the property opens right onto the beach, so getting to the sand is easy. There’s lots of greenery around, the rooms are well maintained, the food is good, and service is prompt. Parking is a little tight. Katal, the stone plateau, is about a five-minute drive away, and its cliff hangers are a must-see. The location is exotic, and it’s a nice place to spend time with family or friends. Catch the sunset.
