Cape House at Amritsar

The pool water didn't look clean, and using it left us with itching and skin irritation. It ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. The room and bathroom also fell far short of what you'd expect at premium rates. There was visible dirt around the bathtub, the jacuzzi hadn't been cleaned properly, hair was stuck around its edges, and the washroom had black stains that looked old. Reception was just as frustrating. We were travelling with a foreign guest, and staff seemed unsure which documents were needed. They repeatedly asked for different forms, passports, and visa documents, causing delays and inconvenience. At ₹26,000 per night, this level of hygiene and service is unacceptable. Definitely not worth the money.

The check-in process was stressful and needlessly confusing. Reception staff kept changing the document requirements for our foreign guest, and different staff gave us different instructions, wasting time. The pool looked poorly maintained, and after spending time in it, we experienced itchy skin. The bathtub and jacuzzi had visible dirt around the edges, hair was stuck in several places, and the washroom had black stains that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. Basic hygiene seemed ignored. At ₹26,000 for a single night, this was one of the poorest value hotel stays we've had. Premium pricing with substandard cleanliness and service. I can't recommend this hotel.

The staff were so warm and helpful, which made the whole stay really comfortable. The room and service were both great. I had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

The host was welcoming and quick to answer our questions, and getting around from the location was easy. The property was spacious, clean, and well looked after. The amenities all worked as they should. I'd happily stay again.
