The Golden Temple is nearby, and that's the only plus. The rooms were clean, but the restaurant and pool weren't operational. Breakfast wasn't worth it either: I paid Rs 350 and got one piece of Amritsari Kulcha with tea brought in from nearby. The reviews on all the online platforms are fake. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

The rooftop cafe and pool area were a lovely place to spend time, especially with the nice surroundings. The rooms were good and had all the facilities, and the hotel is only about 100 meters from the Golden Temple. Nirvana grand hotel made for a fantastic stay, with luxury facilities.

I had a nice stay overall. The hotel is compact but clean, and the staff were really pleasant. One thing bothered me: they charged for early check-in even though a room was empty.

Peter was a great host and helped us arrange transport for a city tour. The hotel is within 100 meters of the Golden Temple and Jaliyah wala Bagh, with the City Center market nearby for traditional clothes. I also liked the peaceful atmosphere and the view from the seventh-floor pool area, though the pool wasn't operating yet. They seemed to be preparing to open it in a couple of months, which should be a nice addition. The hotel is best for a short stay. It's tucked down a lane, but the ambience is nice once you're inside. I'd recommend visiting Amritsar in winter, since summer heat makes it hard to explore and can leave you spending more time back at the hotel.
