The geyser didn’t work, and instead of fixing it, the staff told me I didn’t know how to use it. I was there in February, when it was cold, and the bathroom taps were broken too. The service was poor, and the staff spoke as if they were doing us a favor, though they were a bit cooperative when money came up. Getting to the Golden Temple wasn’t as close as I expected, either. We had to take an e-rickshaw, 25 rupees per person, so four of us paid 100 bucks each way. My flight landed around 5.15, and I reached the hotel about 6am. FABHOTEL support had said early check-in would cost 1k for two rooms and that the hotel would be informed. At the desk they said they knew nothing and had to check room availability. Then a staff member quoted 2k for early check-in. There was no proper room service. I’m glad I booked only one night. It was a terrible experience, and Fab hotel chain is getting worse with hotels like this.

Rooms are small, but the rates are reasonable. There was only one towel and no jet spray in the bathroom. Fine for bachelors, but I wouldn’t recommend it to families.

The staff were very kind, especially the hotel owner, who seemed like an honest person. Hospitality was good and the rooms were good too. I’d gladly stay again. The rooms do need to be cleaned more regularly.

The location is handy, right at the bus stand. I booked through Fabhotel, but the deluxe room had no window. They also charged 400 for early check-in, nearly a third of the day’s total price.
