OYO 4430 Hotel Holy city

The two guys we met when checking in were decent, polite, and knew how to reassure a customer. Checking out was a different story. We asked in Punjabi whether one bottle of water was complimentary, since he had charged us for four. The man at reception switched to English, insulted us, and said not to beg for water. We offered to pay for all four bottles to avoid an argument, but he got angrier, threw the money at us, and told us to keep it. He wouldn't let us leave until we'd gone outside to change the money and pay him. We later heard he was the owner's son-in-law. He wore a turban and trimmed beard and said he'd returned from London. I don't know what else to say about him.

Getting around by car can be difficult in this busy area, and there's no restaurant inside the hotel, though places to eat are nearby. It's a budget-friendly option close to the Golden Temple, with well-equipped rooms, good cleanliness, and courteous staff. A comfortable choice for pilgrims and tourists visiting the main sights.

The hotel is close to the Golden Temple and other places, so I'd stay here again on a future trip. For longer stays, they came in daily and changed the bedsheets. The staff were professional, warm, and helpful, and the room service was excellent. The hotel was well maintained.

We found the rooms very affordable thanks to the customized tariffs, and the hotel is really close to the Golden Temple. It worked well for our group and family. Awesome stay, and five stars for Paul Paaji.
