The room I was given had clearly already been used. The bedsheets and blanket were dirty and hadn’t been changed. When I asked for fresh sheets and pillows, staff bluntly refused, saying, “This is all we have,” and that there were no extras. Cleanliness and hygiene were very poor, which made the stay uncomfortable. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and spoke very badly when I raised concerns instead of cooperating. This was a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, and management needs to improve staff behavior, cleanliness, and basic guest facilities.

The whole experience upset my family and me, and I would never return. The blankets and pillows had stains, the rooms and walls were very dirty, and the washroom was awful. When we asked staff to change the sheets, they replaced them with even dirtier ones. Our food took a long time to arrive, and they were out of cold coffee.

A jaljeera welcome drink was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great spot, a 2-3 minute walk from the golden temple and Jallianwala bagh. The rooms were cozy and well maintained, and all the staff were helpful and professional. Thanks to the whole team at Dee intercontinental.

The way the hotel handled the damage to my car was dismissive. Its front window cracked while parked on their property, and the sticker with the tool number on the window was scratched too. They ignored that detail and refused to take responsibility. I was also quoted one price for a bottle of water and a cup of tea by a staff member, then asked for a higher amount at checkout. Paying for a room and getting this kind of negligence and lack of accountability was incredibly disappointing. The hotel showed little concern for my property or well-being, and the pricing felt deceptive. I’d strongly advise finding somewhere else to avoid a frustrating, costly experience.
