The massive green lawns, badminton court, and grand banquet hall make Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Amritsar near Raja Sansi look well suited to events, and we visited while planning a wedding booking. The estate is eight acres, with a restaurant divided into four elegant sections, a well-kept swimming pool, and a modern gym. The building itself is beautifully preserved, and exceptionally clean. It’s a restored early 20th-century mansion known historically as the Sandhanwalia Haveli, built by the noble Sandhanwalia family, who share lineage with Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Edwardian-era architecture sits alongside traditional Punjabi design. At the entrance we found professional staff and seamless valet parking, followed by fresh guava juice at reception. Inside, paintings of Sri Darbar Sahib, the family genealogy, and historic photographs reflect deep roots in Sikh history. It feels like a walk through Amritsar’s history, and I’d recommend it to anyone who appreciates heritage and luxury.

A peaceful, memorable place for a spiritual getaway, and I’d gladly return. Mr.Ranjeet and the whole breakfast team made each morning a delight with warm, attentive service. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, just right for unwinding after a long day. The corridors add to the serene feel, with beautifully arranged pictures of Sri Harmandir Sahib from different angles. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Amritsar.

The spa and pool teams were wonderful. Our massage ran a little over time, and reception kindly extended checkout so we wouldn’t feel rushed. The restaurant meals were delicious and beautifully presented, and Vanshik & Harsh were friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The room was stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped. I especially appreciated all the plug sockets and USB points for charging. The whole hotel feels elegant and well cared for, with great attention to detail. Staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the atmosphere and service made our stay at ITC Welcome Hotel Raja Sansi, Amritsar unforgettable. If five stars weren’t the limit, I’d give more. A must stay in Amritsar 🌟

Chef Mr. Gaurav Mahna made a beautiful, delicious cake for my son Aarav, which made his celebration extra special. Thanks also to Mr. Nityam for making our reservation smooth and hassle-free from the start. We stayed at ITC Amritsar for 2 nights and 3 days, and F&B Service Supervisor (Spl.) Mr. Ranjeet Singh and the team, Dilpreet, Mehak, Pooja, Payal, and Arjun, looked after us with genuine kindness and professionalism. They won our hearts. The stay was comfortable and memorable, and we hope to visit again soon.
