Arjun Villa Guest House

The owners and staff were friendly, and the place felt homely and safe. We could use tables and chairs outside, and there's a very cute dog called Spark. The guesthouse is a short walk from the beach and restaurants, and mopeds are available to hire for a very reasonable Rs. 300 a day. Our room was clean and had lots of storage, clean towels and soap, plus a kettle, cups, glasses, tea, coffee and creamer. There was also a big fridge freezer with ice cube trays, which felt like a real luxury after more than a month of traveling around India. Having an icy drink on the balcony/veranda was lovely. Some cute Christmas decorations, too. We've stayed in much pricier places with nowhere near as good a room. Great value and highly recommend. The one drawback was the schedule: checkout is 10.00 and check-in is also 10.00, so arriving on time meant waiting while the room was cleaned. It really wasn't a big deal, though.

For 900₹ a night, the room was very good value. It had a big fridge, kettle, decent Wi-Fi, a desk, and a balcony or terrace. There's no AC, just a fan, and the mattress was pretty thin. It gave me neck problems. If a thin mattress works for you and you want an inexpensive, decent place, I'd recommend it.

We booked through booking.com and found this a great place near Anjuna at a reasonable price. The owners were polite and helpful, and there's parking for bikes. Our balcony room came with a small bero, refrigerator, bathroom water heater, tea cups, dining table with a great view outside, kettle, and towel. The rooms were very clean and had all sorts of amenities.

Arjun Villa was ideally located and reasonably priced. Our room was spacious enough, felt private, and had its own little terraced balcony. The owners were warm and friendly. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.
