Hill View Guest House

The room was a bit dark but okay. We were told online that it would have a private kitchen, but when we arrived we found out only some rooms do, and ours didn't. The shower was disgusting, and nobody cleaned the room during our stay.

I stayed for five nights and was very disappointed. The manager said we'd have hot water around the clock from a geyser, but the one in our bathroom didn't work. For two days, the water stopped while I was bathing, and I had to use another room because ours had no working geyser. There was a cockroach on the bed, and muddy water came from the tap. We faced a lot of problems.

I've stayed here twice, including in the cottage near the main gate. It had a big fridge, a kitchen, two entrance doors, and enough parking space for two or three scooters. The place is calm and really nice. The owner has a few dogs that bark, but they're friendly. Both the owner and the cleaning lady were very helpful.

It's an affordable option for a holiday, with simple rooms and nothing fancy. The owner is a gem and is always willing to help, though you don't need to bother him constantly. The beach isn't too far, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
