Seclude Eco Cottages

There’s a peaceful, nature-filled feel here, with trees all around, and the rooms and property were clean. The staff were relaxed and helpful, and breakfast stood out for its multiple choices and budget-friendly price. An infinity pool sits right in front of the rooms, so you have direct access. The place is called Seclude Eco Cottages, between Anjuna and Vagator and near the Diaz pool/ party club. The narrow lane leading in may seem odd, but once you arrive, it’s fine. They also have affordable car and bike rentals on site, so you can head out to explore Goa after checking in. Vibes, 10/10. Overall rating, 9/10.

I stayed here over the Republic Day long weekend. The pool was a nice plus, and the location gives easy access to good restaurants, cafes, and food trucks in Anjuna, Assagao, and Vagator. It’s peacefully away from the main area, though getting to the beach means taking a vehicle or walking 30 minutes. The road in is a narrow single lane and gets dark at night. Rooms are a good size with balconies, but once you check in, nobody checks on you. You have to call reception for everything, and it seems one person runs the whole property. Even water bottles have to be picked up there. Breakfast was especially disappointing for the price: small portions for a double room, little variety, and a long wait, with staff only able to serve one or two rooms at a time. Water was shut off for a while, but the caretaker fixed it after I reported it. Service needs to improve for what you pay. I wouldn’t stay again, since there are better B&Bs at this price with better facilities.

The pool was a highlight, especially swimming among all the greenery, and the cottages were clean, well cared for, and finished to a high standard. The staff were supportive and professional, ready when needed without getting in the way. It’s a quiet spot away from the bustle, with beautiful surroundings that made mornings and evening walks feel peaceful. The place combines an eco-friendly setting with a level of comfort I didn’t expect. It was a rejuvenating stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for quality service and a calm natural setting.

We had a nice stay, and the pool was awesome. The rooms were comfortable, but from the ground floor we could hear noise and movement from upstairs. The washroom door needs fixing.
