OYO Flagship 324 Velachery Madipakkam

It’s a nice place for a few days, and the staff were decent and helpful. I haven’t tried the food, though from the way it looked I’m guessing it should be okay. The only drawback is that it’s a bit far from the main city, so you’ll need a cab or public transport to get around.

The rooms were clean and the ACs worked pretty well, but the TV didn’t work and the mattresses didn’t seem clean or comfortable. The food tasted bad and was much too costly, so it felt like a waste of money. It was an okay hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great staff made what would have been a two-star stay into four stars, and they made sure I was comfortable. The location is good, but the rooms weren’t as clean as I’d expect. Avoid the ground-floor rooms, they stink. Parking can also be a bit of an issue.

The only good thing about the hotel was the person at reception. The rooms were old, none of the doors had keys, and every room was full of mosquitoes. You’re sure to get dengue fever staying here. The intercom in the room didn’t work, there was no hygiene, the linens were bad, and the beds had terrible mattresses.
