Spazio Leisure Resort

We’d only planned on staying one night, but ended up adding three more days. The location was so convenient, the staff were kind and helpful, and we felt safe and well looked after throughout. The hotel sits on a wide, busy street with plenty of parking, and everything we needed was within walking distance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we expected for the price. A lovely young woman at reception welcomed us warmly, arranged the room we’d requested, and always greeted us with a cheerful smile. She was polite and caring, and made the place feel homely. One small frustration was the towel policy. We weren’t told in advance that towels used at the pool wouldn’t be replaced, or that we couldn’t request extra ones. A heads-up would have helped 😁. Luckily we’d brought our own, otherwise it could’ve been inconvenient. Some flexibility would be appreciated for guests’ comfort and hygiene. Still, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d be glad to return.

We came by train and arrived at 8:30 AM, but had to wait until 2 PM for a room, despite the hotel being nearly empty. I understand there are rules, but most hotels would be courteous enough to let guests in by noon. We also couldn’t get a dental kit until check-in. The extra adult fee is steep at Rs. 2000 per person per night. We’d specifically booked a pool view room, but staff kept steering us toward a corner room, the same kind we’d stayed in last time while paying the courtyard room rate. The room itself felt outdated, with just handwash and bodywash, no shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast had a dead fly in it, and nobody seemed to care when we reported it. This doesn’t feel like a resort in any way, more like an old-fashioned hotel with a pool. It reminded me of a dharamshala, where you just get a room and everything else costs extra and comes with strict rules. I’ve read other reviews describing similar experiences. The hotel’s replies seem argumentative and don’t promise to improve. I’m sharing what happened so people coming to Goa to make memories know what to expect. If you’re fine arriving at 2 PM, leaving at 11 AM, and not expecting resort amenities, it’s a decent enough place. But if you want to relax and avoid unnecessary arguments, there are much better places in Goa at this price.

My daughter loved the small swimming pool for children, which made the stay even better. The property grounds were well maintained and had a calm atmosphere, and the staff were very supportive. Our room was spacious and clean, with a TV and other basic facilities. There were a few small drawbacks: the mini-fridge made a faint but disturbing sound at night, and there was no welcome kit with toiletries or basic travel items. Breakfast tasted good, but the selection was limited. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

The staff were polite and courteous, and there’s a pool at the property. But the parking area is small, and the rooms smell a bit and don’t feel up to the standard of a place charging close to 4k. Breakfast was complimentary but below par and could be much better. At that price, you can find better properties with better amenities.
