The washroom was very clean, and there is plenty of parking. The banquet hall was good, but after the Puja there was no way to clear the smoke, and it became suffocating. The idli and vada I ordered tasted sour. Two staff members argued in front of customers, and even though they didn't charge me for the idli after I complained, that situation wasn't okay. The food and staff behaviour need improvement.

The place was comfortable enough and the prices seemed reasonable for the quality. The menu had a decent range, though some dishes were only average and others tasted good. Service stayed polite but slowed down at busy times. The atmosphere was pleasant but not especially memorable. It's okay if you're nearby, though it could improve.

The hotel seems decent and has good facilities, but the receptionist, Kasim / Quasim Ali, was quite rude and not very cordial. Management should provide proper customer service and soft skills training so the receptionist can be more polite, professional, and less egoistic. This matters especially for people checking in around midnight, when they're tired and not in a condition to argue or meet unreasonable demands from the front desk.

Novus AC Banquet is on the highway in Bharuch. The air-conditioned hall holds about 400 people, and there's good parking.

We tried the Mushroom Masala and Hyderabadi Biryani, and neither tasted good. Both were mostly salty and spicy, and the Mushroom Masala came in a brown gravy.
