I booked online for two nights at INR 913, but they refused to accept the booking because I had paid online. I contacted Oyo customer care for a refund and then chose to pay at the property, where the amount shown was INR 1488. Once they saw it was a two-day booking, they refused to give me a room and claimed INR 1488 was the price per day, even though their own tab showed it as the total bill. Be careful before booking here.

Check-in was easy and the staff were good. The rooms are spacious, and it’s just a minute or two on foot from the main road. Cleanliness needs improvement, which was my main concern, but otherwise the place is good.

I had booked two days through Oyo, but the hotel didn’t know about it and had given my room to someone else. The staff were very rude, and the location was bad too. After a long argument with the hotelier and Oyo, I had to book another hotel. This place seems popular with unmarried couples looking to “get a room,” but I’d give it a miss.

The caretaker and owner were both very helpful, and the service was good. This apartment used to be under Oyo and is now under Airbnb. Its full address is "House No. AB90, STREET NO 87, AA1, NEW TOWN, KOLKATA 700156"

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were polite and helpful. There’s a market right beside the property, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. It’s well connected to the city and easy to find.
