We were a family group of 20 at # God's Gift Guest House, and the stay was a big disappointment. We paid around ₹2200 per room per night, yet there was no help with our bags when we arrived late. Staff said the people who carry luggage were asleep because it was late, which wasn’t acceptable. We only found out after checking in that we couldn’t prepare food for our group. That hadn’t been made clear when we booked. As a large Indian family, we hoped for some cooperation but were met with an indifferent, unhelpful attitude. We also saw a clear difference in how foreign guests and Indian families were treated. Hospitality should be the same for everyone. The price may look affordable, but service and guest support fell far short. Families or groups should think carefully before booking. I hope management becomes more professional and treats every guest with equal respect.

The way foreign guests were treated seemed noticeably more attentive and polite than the way our Indian family group was treated. Hospitality shouldn’t depend on nationality or expectations about tips. Equal payment deserves equal respect. We were 20 family members on a recent Goa trip and paid about ₹2200 per room per night. That doesn’t feel like a budget price for a basic guest house, yet when we checked in late, nobody helped with our luggage. Staff told us the person responsible was asleep because we’d arrived late. That explanation was unacceptable for paying guests, and the experience affected our vacation. The property may look affordable online, but its service and professionalism were well below what families should accept. Indian families and groups should consider this carefully before booking. I hope management understands that fairness builds a reputation, not selective service.

The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and really enjoyed my stay. Everything was perfect for me. Thanks for the excellent service. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

As an Indian family group, we felt a clear difference in the attention, politeness, and willingness to help we received compared with foreign guests. That was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. Hospitality shouldn’t depend on who might tip more or seem more profitable. Indian guests deserve the same respect and dignity as anyone else, and we didn’t feel that standard was met here. Paying customers deserve equal service. Families or groups looking for fair treatment may want to think again before booking. Management needs to reflect on this, because fairness matters to a property’s reputation.

Sunny, Maria and John, the family who run God’s Gift, were so welcoming and friendly that we felt right at home. We had an amazing time there over New Year. The location is hard to beat, with the beach and shops a minute away on foot. There’s also a restaurant on site with delicious food at some of the most reasonable prices you’ll find in Arambol. It has everything you need for a great stay, and I can’t recommend it enough. 🙏❤️
