The manager or owner is welcoming and understanding, and the owner was very helpful. It's worth trying to negotiate the price when you arrive. The location is great, with prominent temples and ghats within walking distance, and it's couple friendly. My one complaint is that the toilets don't have hand jets.
Bedsheets were filthy and looked used. When I asked for a fresh one, they handed me another used sheet. The rooms were untidy and damp, with a foul smell throughout. The toilet tap and wardrobe were broken, and the stairs were uneven. The location is perfect, but the stay was horrible. I wouldn't recommend it to families, though maybe stags can manage.
I was surprised by how clean the rooms were and that they had amenities like a TV and cooler. I'd booked a single room for just 350 rs and was unsure what to expect. The guest house is near the temple and Dashashwamedh ghat, and the owner was helpful in pointing out nearby attractions. Great value for money.
A convenient spot in Nagpur for working women, though the rooms are a bit small. Good PG.
Getting here from the station is a concern. After 7 am, a regular auto won't take you all the way, so you need to pay extra or walk 15 minutes from where it drops you. The stairs are steeper than normal, and ventilation in the room is poor. There was a mouse in my fourth-floor room, which they said was normal. The TV didn't work and there was no remote. They said they couldn't do anything about the missing remote.
