I made great memories at Happy Panda Hostel on my first solo trip. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the common area was a good place to meet people. It felt safe and fun, so I’d recommend it to solo travelers. Kartik, the owner, was my college friend back in our engineering days, and I’m proud of how well he manages the place. He’s humble and supportive and makes sure guests are comfortable. Saurabh is also a great, helpful person who adds to the hostel’s welcoming atmosphere.

The food and atmosphere were amazing, and I felt like part of the family as soon as I arrived. The staff work hard to keep everyone comfortable, and Amberi really captures the hostel’s "Happy Panda" energy. Hosts Sourabh and Kartik bhai are what make the place special. They’re welcoming, know the area well, and genuinely care about each guest’s experience. If you want an offbeat recommendation, take one from Kartik bhai. He has a knack for finding hidden gems you won’t see in guidebooks, and you won’t regret it. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Happy Panda Hostel in Arambol has a lively social feel but still manages to be laid back and welcoming. It’s a real gem if you’re heading to North Goa. Saurabh and Karthik are friendly hosts who make you feel more like a friend than a guest. The place feels inclusive, safe, and community-oriented, which makes it easy to meet other solo travelers. The whole team is attentive and proactive, and everything is well maintained. Food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently good, whether you’re getting ready for a beach day or winding down in the evening. Whether you’re after sunset vibes or a community of travelers, I can’t recommend this hostel enough.

The owners, staff, and other travelers make this hostel feel like one big family, which is rare. It’s clean, the beds are really comfortable, and the food is amazing. Be sure to meet Karthik bhai, he’s one of a kind, very sweet and sometimes funny 😂. Happy journey!

I planned to stay for three days at this budget hostel, then added two more because I loved the vibe, the people I met, the food, and the excellent service. I’d planned to stay even longer, maybe weeks, but work wouldn’t allow it. It’s one of the best hostels in Goa, and it’s often full. Kartik and Sourav are incredible hosts, polite, helpful, and respectful. Kartik is my man, I love that guy. I rode to Goa on my bike, and his suggestions for offbeat places I’m sure 99% of riders never visit made the trip even better. Don’t think twice, just book it.
