Hill Top Arambol

We came for lunch hoping for crab, but they didn’t have any. The server offered to get one from the market if we left a small deposit, so we booked a table for dinner instead. They showed us the live crab when we returned and asked how we wanted it cooked. It was over 1.5 kg, cooked really well, and the gravy was delicious with just the right amount of chilli and tang, though I can’t recall its name. The chips were super crispy, and the fish from the tandoor was spot on. Everything was clean, and drinks were reasonably priced. We got exactly the crab we’d come for.

Dining here is especially nice for the sea view, with tables set in a chilled-out atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and provided good service.

We complained after hardly touching the food, but the waiter still charged us for everything. The order had gone wrong twice with the salad, and we never got what we’d asked for. The garlic bread didn’t resemble garlic bread, and the margarita pizza was a mess, just fresh tomato slices under cheese. I’d stay away.
