The rooms at Honey Guest House are right by the beach, with a lovely view and a really relaxing feel. We paid around ₹3000 a night, which seemed reasonable. The food was a highlight: the tandoor-grilled Kingfish and Pomfret came with rice, salad, and fries, and were among the best seafood meals I’ve had. We also enjoyed the Prawns Biryani, Prawns Fried Rice, Chicken Biryani, and Dal Khichadi. The Prawns Rawa Fry was tasty too, but ₹250 for a small prawn felt overpriced. Room care was a real problem. Nobody cleaned for two days, so we had to do it ourselves, and there was also a water shortage. We saw cockroaches and a house lizard in the room. The food and location were great, but maintenance and room service need work.

I can’t speak to the accommodation since I’ve never stayed here, but I’ve been coming back for the food for a few years. It’s consistently good, fairly priced, and the staff are welcoming. The fruit muesli bowl with curd is my favorite breakfast, filling and yummy. I’d definitely recommend it.

The tables by the water give the place a really cute feel. Food was good, service was great, and the staff were so friendly.

We booked two rooms for two days, but the owner refused to let us check in and seemed to be trying to cheat us. Worst experience. Don’t ever book here online.

We only stopped for lunch, not a room. The view was nice, the drinks were cold, and service was good. The fish was okay, though it cost more than at some other places along the strip or beach. We just needed a quick bite and drink, so our expectations weren’t high. I’m not a fan of Tilapia or Basa, and we ordered Goan Fish curry without asking which fish it used. The gravy was good, but it was Basa, so after one bite we left it for the stray animals.
