Lazy Lagoon, Baga A Lemon Tree Resort

The restaurant was a highlight, with delicious food and very polite, well-mannered staff. Sushmita deserves a special mention for the warm hospitality and constant smile. Our three-room booking at Lazy Lagoon Lemon Tree, Arpora was comfortable and peaceful, with good service throughout. Baga Beach is very close, and Anjuna and Vagator are around 3-5 km away, so it was easy to explore North Goa. The rooms were nice and the stay relaxing for our group. A great spot for families or friends looking for comfort, good food and a convenient location. We'd visit again.

The restaurant staff have been especially welcoming, and the food was delicious. Sushmita and Jelina were attentive, polite and professional, making sure we had what we needed with a warm smile. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for good service and a welcoming team in Goa.

We had a poor stay for the money. The room AC didn't work, the pool couldn't be used after 7:30 PM, and there is no lift, which was inconvenient. Restaurant staff were uncooperative and didn't listen, so we had to wait for everything. Guests also aren't allowed to park two-wheelers inside and have to leave them outside, which felt unsafe and inconvenient. It seemed staff were focused on serving the managers and VIPs, especially during senior management visits, rather than looking after regular guests. The overall service was very poor.

We trusted the Lemon Tree name and booked three rooms directly on the official website for a family vacation. Before we even arrived, the manager was asking us to cut the booking to two rooms. When we wouldn't, his manner turned rude and arrogant. After a long road trip, we were exhausted, but they tried to put us in lower-category rooms and demanded full payment before properly showing us the rooms. There were arguments, pressure and threats, and no respect or commitment to the booking. The staff came across like local brokers trying to fill rooms, not people providing hospitality. The whole thing caused a lot of stress before check-in. Lazy Lagoon is a stain on the Lemon Tree brand. If families are treated this way before check-in, I can only imagine how bad it might be afterwards. Family travelers should stay far away if they don't want their vacation mood ruined from day one.
