The Citi Residenci Hotel-Asansol

For a premium hotel, it's shocking how little they seem to care about basic comfort. The kitchen exhaust fan was roaring like a factory, making it impossible to sleep or relax, and management seemed completely indifferent. I can't understand where the owners put their profits when not a rupee seems to go toward upkeep or guest comfort. The price is a disgrace for what you get. If you want rest, quiet, or value for money, stay away.

The in-house restaurant service was terribly slow: breakfast took 40 minutes to arrive. Room cleaning was handled just as unprofessionally. When I asked for a towel, they said none was available and they'd bring one tomorrow, so I had to share the previous day's single towel for a day. A really bad experience from a place calling itself a 3 star.

I organized an event, and Mr Faisal khan was fantastic throughout, with his support and cooperation. The food, ambience, service, and everything else were superb.

We had a great stay. Rooms were good, beds comfortable, and washrooms clean. The food was amazing, parking was spacious, and the staff were friendly. Must try!
