Rococco at Ashvem

You get great beach access and lovely views here, with a chic crowd and a pet-friendly setting. There are also plenty of small shops and places to eat nearby. The beach itself is very clean. I'd definitely come back for the views and easy access. The bathrooms, cleaning, and general service need work. The food was sad, and the breakfast menu repeated every day. If those things improved, the overall experience could be much better.

When we stayed here in May 2015, the beach was almost deserted, with very few people around. The place is right on the beach, just what we wanted. Our spacious room had a small balcony overlooking the water. Families with children would find it handy, as there's a little deck where kids can play and guests can have breakfast in the morning. Service was very quick, and the breakfast buffet was simply amazing.

The beach in front was wonderfully clean and had very few people, and for the price I found the resort decent. Our room was enclosed and had no outside view. It's suitable if, like us, you only want somewhere to sleep at night and plan to spend the day on the beach. The resort is right by the water, but there are better food options outside. Salt water came through the bathroom and toilet taps, making it hard to wash or rinse my mouth, and the toilets need maintenance.

The peaceful, uncrowded setting and lovely sea views made me enjoy the resort, and the hotel staff were good. I was disappointed with the food service, though. They seemed to give more attention to foreign guests, and I had to ask several times for a menu. Apart from that, you'll enjoy staying here.
