Casa Rio Resort Athirapilly

We had a good stay at Casario Resort, Athirapilly. The peaceful atmosphere and riverside view of the waterfalls were a highlight. Our clean, comfortable room was well maintained, and the pool was clean too. The food was tasty. Parking felt a little congested, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay near Athirapilly waterfalls.

The ambience was beautiful and calm, with a royal feel, and we had a truly memorable time. The food was delicious and excellent quality. All the staff were courteous, attentive, and supportive. Jacob is a very good chef, and Sadhik’s ,shakestien behavior is very kind and courteous.

We chose Casa Rio for a four-day break from our routine, and it was a memorable, fun stay for the four of us. The river bath was a highlight, with sunset behind the mountain on one side and athirapilly falls on the other. Guests are allowed in the river depending on its flow, and staff reminded us to come out before the electric fence switches on around 6pm/6.30pm and the gate closes. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, with mountains beside the accessible river and a distant view of the falls. Rooms were clean and spacious, and our single bedroom had two bathrooms, which was handy. Staff were friendly and attentive, especially Shadiq, Rohit, and the restaurant team, who were soft spoken. Breakfast was a standard menu, and the dinner we ordered was good. The location worked well for visiting athirapilly falls, vazhachal falls, thumboormuzhi dam, and hanging bridge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the resort.

There was rich flora and fauna around the resort, and sitting near the pool to watch the falls and river flow was a big plus. The atmosphere was beautiful and very peaceful. The food was very good, and they were happy to customise it to suit your needs. The front desk staff kindly shared all the details we needed and were available throughout. Everyone working there was approachable, kind, and helpful.
