Rainforest

The food was a real pleasure throughout our six nights at Rainforest. Chef Zackaria prepared a varied menu with lots of Kerala cuisine, which we love, and we discovered Indian desserts we hadn’t tried before, including beetroot halwa. Suresh, the coffee maker, served the best coffee and masala chai we had on our trip. The manager and team were very hospitable, and the dining staff especially attentive. Our room was very clean, and on the last night they decorated our bed with flowers to thank us for staying. Six nights is a fairly long stay, but it was just what we needed. My wife was working on a book, and Rainforest gave her a peaceful place to write. If you want to get away from crowds and enjoy the sound of the waterfall and Kerala’s beautiful nature, I highly recommend it.

The direct view of the waterfalls makes this place totally worth it. I don’t know another resort with such a clear view. All the staff paid attention to details, and Avani and Daison got us what we needed very quickly. Lunch and dinner, which are included, might be just okay, but the chaiwallah is the real star. He makes awesome coffee and tea, and he’s the genuine article. Come here for an immersive waterfall experience, both visually and by sound!

The falls view was spectacular, and our stay was really nice. Operations Manager Daisan and F&B Snehal were especially awesome. Visit during monsoon for an even better view of the falls.

Rainforest Athirapally felt like magic, surrounded by lush greenery with breathtaking views of the Athirapally waterfalls. The villas combine luxury and nature well, with privacy, comfort, and lovely scenery from every angle. Avani, Daison, snehil, akhil, Dr akshay, and suresh were all amazing. They welcomed us with warm smiles and shared a lot of information about the nature around us. It’s a must-stay, and I’m planning to return to Rainforest Athirapally.
