The room view was amazing, with the river visible and Athirapally falls just 1.2 kms away. You can bathe in the river or just wet your feet. If you book at Willow Heights Athirapally, I’d ask for a balcony room. It gives you a huge private balcony, well worth it. The room and restroom were neat and clean, and the surroundings were tidy, with staff working hard to keep them that way. We got to check in a little early, and reception staff were helpful and arranged an auto for us. The food was great and affordable. We didn’t get hot water, and I wish the property offered lunch, even at an extra cost. Otherwise, I’d recommend it without doubt.

The food deserves five stars, it was delicious, and the staff were kind and friendly. Some were especially helpful, and they were available when we needed them and tried to give good hospitality. The location felt so-so for the price: it’s about a 20-minute walk to the waterfall and 200 m from the main road, where there are small shops for groceries. The room interior could use a little more design attention. Water supply in the bathroom was unreliable during our two nights, and the fan had trouble working at night. The electric appliances, including the fan and AC, could use some maintenance. A bit more attention to swimming pool hygiene would be good too.

Staff were friendly, the service was superb, and the food was tasty and hygienic. The location is near the river, with a riverside dining area. You can enjoy the river and water in the morning, but keep an eye on the water level, as it may rise without warning.

Not worth even one star. The supervisor behaved very badly, and the furnishings in the room were poor quality. There was no hot water, and the shower was broken. They charged extra for every water bottle. When we raised these problems at checkout, the supervisor used bad language. You can stay peacefully somewhere else for the same price.

We had a lovely stay at Willow Heights Resort. The food was delicious, the staff were so welcoming, and service was top-notch throughout. Highly recommend it for a pleasant, easy getaway.
