Malari Inn

At Joshimath, this was my worst stay ever and a big mistake. The room was only average in cleanliness, and the bedsheets and pillow covers were never washed. They gave us an extra bed without an extra sheet, only two blankets for three people, and no towels. Food and drinks cost more than the quoted amount. We waited 45 minutes for drinking water and had to keep calling, and there was no mineral water at all. The tea tasted like sweet water, and the chicken and rice were undercooked. Sunil on the hotel staff was the most arrogant and pathetic person I met in all of Uttrakhand. When I asked him to call his manager, he said, “Yahan jo hun main he hun.”
