I strongly suspect the trouble started because we chose an outside decorator instead of the manager's recommended one, which was significantly overpriced. The manager's behavior felt mischievous, as if it was retaliation for not hiring his friend or partner. During our family function at the hotel's lawn, the MCB kept tripping and disrupting the event. After I spoke privately with maintenance and offered a tip, the power problems suddenly stopped for the rest of the night. It felt like the interruptions were being engineered to extract extra money. We had booked the lawn with electricity included, but the manager first refused to provide lighting and then denied us power for our own external focus lights. Only after a heated confrontation and scolding did they allow us to connect 8 focus lights and 6 par lights. The management seemed unprofessional and lacking in integrity. If you don't use the manager's suggested, expensive vendors, expect a hostile manager and possible technical difficulties.

There is no lift, so getting around may be difficult for elderly guests. We stayed in a clean family room, though the washroom was a little small. The staff were friendly and even arranged dinner at 11 PM, despite the restaurant closing at 10.30 PM. A decent budget-friendly hotel otherwise.

They charged 500rs for early check-in, which would be understandable if the room had actually been made ready. Instead it was filthy, with dust everywhere, a dirty floor, and a bathroom and room that looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months. There were several strands of hair on the bed. We asked them to clean the floor, but they didn't. Wouldn't recommend.

It was a peaceful, clean stay and felt family-friendly. The staff were helpful and cooperative. I'd recommend the hotel.
