RBD Sarovar Portico, Bengaluru

I spent 13 nights and 14 days at RBD Sarovar Portico while working in Bangalore, and it really felt like a home away from home. Cleanliness was excellent throughout, which matters a lot on a long stay. Housekeeping changed the towels and bedsheets on time every day without being asked, and room service was quick, with requests handled within minutes. My package included office pickup and drop-off by cab. Each day, the staff proactively checked the timing, making the commute hassle-free. Breakfast and brunch are a specialty here: the complimentary breakfast had more than 80 items, with great quality, variety, and taste every day. Thanks to Sarovar Hotels and the whole RBD Sarovar Portico team for such high-quality service. I’d highly recommend it for corporate trips and longer stays.

Dinner was a lifesaver after Bangalore’s notoriously bad traffic. I’d come back hungry and tired after work, and there was a well-prepared meal with a wide menu to choose from every day. I stayed for 14 days at the start of my time in a new city, and the hotel made life easier. My room was neat and tidy each day after a hectic day at work. The staff were amazing. Pothai, Rimpa, and Ajay from dining service, and Manoranjan and Birendra from housekeeping, thank you so much for all your support.

For work, the location was useful, with many companies within walking distance. But the rooms weren’t worth the price. I booked a deluxe room with a balcony, and it was dusty; the balcony was very dirty, the sink drained poorly, and the window curtains were broken. I tried breakfast, but it was horrible and everything was cold. I showed the manager, but they still denied it. The masala omelet had no masala and wasn’t cooked properly. The gym was a joke, just a small room with one or two pieces of equipment that can fit only two or three people at most. I’ve posted photos, including of the ironing board and photo spoons.

Mr. Pandeyji was always in the lobby to help with luggage and greet guests, and Sameer at reception was informative and well mannered. The rooms were cozy, and I had a great stay and a wonderful time.
