MGM - Aagman The Guest House

I've stayed here whenever I need a place in Aurangabad while travelling. The rooms are spacious, the food is great, and breakfast comes freshly prepared with plenty of options and generous portions. The restaurant gives a 20% food discount because it's a hotel management school hotel. Parking inside the premises is secure. Some bathrooms have fittings that have become stiff from scaling, depending on the room.

The Salt is the hotel's actual name, and it's in a prime location on the MGM premises. There's a lot of space to walk or jog in the morning, and it felt like one of the safest places to stay on a solo trip. The rooms were quite lavish for the price, and staff service was up to standard. On one occasion, when they were very busy with guests, calls from the rooms seemed to be ignored. Still, highly recommended.

For the price, the hotel is good, and the full-size swimming pool is very nice. It's there as part of the sports facility. The food was below average, especially considering there's a culinary school at the location. I tried Masaledar baked veg and gulab jamun, and neither was worth it.

We'd been looking for a good hotel for a midway stop on our roughly 1000 km drive from mumbai to Seoni(MP), and I think we've found it. It's around 5km from Jalna Highway, so not right on the highway. The pool is lovely, parking is spacious and feels safe, the restaurant is nice, and breakfast was great. Staff were cooperative and well behaved, all at a very reasonable price. A beautiful place and an awesome stay.
