Motel J K by OYO Rooms

The staff were very nice and attentive to every request, though the food quality needs improvement. The ambience isn’t great, but it’s manageable. There are spacious rooms and open parking, and the motel is conveniently located right off National Highway 19 near Aurangabad, Bihar, making it suitable for travelers.

The worst part was how embarrassed we felt in front of our guests, who were angry about the arrangements. We had booked every room, both halls, and the food area for a family wedding, but the hotel didn't deliver what the manager, Mr. Amit, had promised. He said everything would be ready by 4 pm, including parking, water for guests, lights and flowers, and basic room amenities. It wasn't. The decoration was missing even though it was included in the final bill. They promised 15 waiters but sent only 8. After the party, there was no drinking water for guests, even though the wedding rituals went on all night, and there was no coffee either. The food tasted very poor for such a high price per plate. Clean plates weren't ready on time, so people had to queue, and nobody cleaned up the scattered food and packets. The wash basins were clogged, leaving nowhere to wash hands. The rooms were in bad shape too: no towels, soap, or shampoo, and the sheets were torn and dirty. Several toilets were clogged. My family called the owner and manager 40-50 times through the night about these problems, but they didn't answer. They don't seem experienced with wedding functions, even though they accept bookings and make big promises. To me, this is just a restaurant with some rooms listed on OYO. I wouldn't book it for a wedding. We felt cheated.

I went to check in, but the manager spoke and acted so rudely that I felt helpless and was nearly in tears. The staff's behavior toward guests was extremely rude and aggressive. Because of what happened, I'm going to file a complaint against the hotel management in consumer court.
