OYO 13810 Hotel The Gentleman

It's affordable for a long stay, and there's good food available. The staff were polite and good. Being near the hospital and highway makes the place accessible for patients' relatives. That said, the bathrooms need more cleaning. There were food stains on the bedsheet, and it wasn't clean, so please pay attention to that.

The complimentary breakfast was a useful part of the deal, but our short stay wasn't comfortable. The AC didn't work and the beds were unclean. Staff grooming was poor, and just one person was handling reservations as well as the other service.

The owners were good and cooperative, and helped guide us through problems, including a possible extension. The entrance is a bit confusing, and the hotel entrance bar was not what I expected. Rooms are good, but the washroom doors need improvement. Food is available, though service is slow and not comfortable. The staff should be quicker. Parking for cars needs improvement too, since the open parking is risky near the highway.

The manager and staff were polite and flexible about check-in and check-out times. Apart from that, there isn't much to like. It's in an isolated setting without much street shopping nearby. The infrastructure is in poor shape and not well maintained, and Oyo's promise of clean linen wasn't fulfilled. I wouldn't recommend it for families or for a solo stay unless the price is a good deal.
