Palette - Krishna Heritage

We had a cozy stay over 2025 Christmas, with helpful, humble staff and very spacious rooms. A garden outside the rooms is nice to walk around, and there are cute little rabbits to see. Sugarcane fields surround the property, with lovely sunrise and sunset scenery. It's away from busy roads and disturbance, so we could really enjoy some peace. There's a restaurant too, and the food is really delicious. A great place to stay and enjoy a vacation.

Krishna Heritage Hotel is pretty far from the main tourist spots, so expect extra travel time. The food is good and the staff service decent, but that's about where the positives end. Even a simple bottle of water costs a premium. Great food and service, but your wallet and sightseeing plans might take a hit.

I’m writing this after one day of our stay, with another day still to go. Rooms are spacious and good, but there’s no room service or room cleaning staff. Surprisingly, kitchen cleaning staff and the security guard are the ones bringing blankets and water bottles. The swimming pool is closed because of low staffing. Restaurant service is very slow and poor, and the food quality is average. It hasn’t been a good stay at Krishna Heritage Hotel. Not recommended if you're planning to eat at the hotel. 29 December 2025

The cottage was bright even at night, with no curtains, and the doors didn't lock properly, leaving an actual gap. The floors creaked with the slightest pressure, even when just standing. After a day exploring, I planned to relax with some TV, but there were no Hindi or English channels. The in-house restaurant was basic and average, and the curry portions were small and insufficient. The pool had no water and wasn't working. The website said there'd be a hairdryer, but when I asked, they said they'd all been given to other guests. There was no Wi-Fi either, so having neither TV nor internet was really boring. Do yourself a favour and don't book a cottage if you want to stay here.
