We only needed a room for four hours to freshen up, and check-in and check-out were very quick. Rooms are kept clean and in good condition, the rates are reasonable, and the staff are humble. It's right across the main road from Lemon tree hotel. I had some tea there and it was very tasty. This isn't a business class hotel, just an ok ok type place.

When we returned at 00:30 AM.in the night, the lobby light was off. There wasn't a fan in the lobby at check-in either. The bathroom was in very bad shape, with no ventilation, and the English toilet wasn't fixed to the floor, which caused a bad smell. With the AC on, that smell spread further into room 208.

It's an old property, though they've made a nice try at making it look good. Everything could use improvement, especially the very boring service. Don't try the soups at the restaurant. Only Mutter paneer and mushroom mutter were good; everything else was below average. We had issues with hot water, there's no bar, and the restaurant is pure veg. Hope they improve things in future.

I'd advise against booking Hotel Apex Baddi and suggest choosing another hotel in Baddi. The staff were very uncooperative, unprofessional, and behaved poorly. Here's what happened to me. I was travelling from Delhi for official work on a Himsuta Bus, which reaches Baddi at 4 in the morning. Before leaving, I booked a room through OYO and contacted the hotel about an early check-in under OYO's extra charge policy. They agreed, but when I arrived, they refused, saying they couldn't offer early check-in for OYO guests and weren't accepting OYO bookings. I waited at reception from 5 AM to 8 AM and repeatedly asked just to use the room bathroom so I could get ready for my meeting, then check in later according to the policy. They wouldn't let me, but after a lot of asking they allowed me to use the servant or workers' bathroom. It wasn't good, but I managed and went to my meeting. When I returned that evening to check in, they said they couldn't let me stay because the tariff was too low, and told me to call OYO to get it increased. That was another drama. I called OYO, and it took 30 minutes to resolve the tariff issue. They then gave me room 209, which wasn't what I'd booked. I had booked a 3X room type but was given a 2X room type. I don't know why. I managed that night and left as early as I could the next day. It was a bad experience but a great learning experience. I learned another side of human nature. You could lose valuable time and get stuck in trouble here. There are many hotels near Baddi bus stand, so choose one of those. I'm sharing my experience to help. Goodbye.
