The temple is just a couple of minutes away on foot, and the view from the windows is gorgeous. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with heating and hot water. Breakfast was really good, though dinner was a letdown. In the non-main season, they offer only a buffet, no à la carte. Many reviews praise the non-spicy food, but I found it bland, and I’m European. The staff were very attentive.

We had a smooth check-in at this clean, neat place, and the staff were very attentive. The room was big, and the washroom was good. The food was delicious and made to our choice, with no spice. Kudos to Arvind and Chef Ramesh ji. Uttam Kumar served us well too. Thanks to Front desk Manager Mr. Punit, ashish. Ji, MR. Vivek, and hk manager Mr. Umesh ji for the good service.

At Sarovar portico hotel Badrinath, we had a wonderful stay. The place was neat and clean, and the team responded promptly. Housekeeping did their work perfectly. Thanks to Mr.Umesh ji and Virendra ji from Hk manager. Mr.Ramesh .ji was the perfect chef, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The wash warming person was always ready to serve us. Uttam.ji and Jaideep ji were very passionate and worked hard, and nothing was missed. Thank you, Mr.Vivek, for your best service, and thanks to Mr.punit.ji, front desk manager. Wishing Uttam.ji and the whole team good luck, and keep up the hard work.

The mix veg pakoda was really yummy, and the food and service were excellent. The restaurant was clean too. Mr rohit, Mr.Uttam, jaydeep, and arvind chef were really helpful. Housekeeping was good as well. Thanks to all the Sarovar staff, especially the restaurant team, and to Mr.punit, front desk manager. Good job, Vivek (Hk).

Jalebi was the highlight of the food for me, freshly made by the chef, and breakfast had a good variety and tasted better than the other meals. The rest of the food was decent, though average overall. The hotel’s big advantage is its convenient location near the Badrinath temple, which makes it ideal for a visit. I stayed one night at Sarovar Portico Badrinath. The room was spacious and had basic facilities, but there was a musty, insulation-like smell, especially in the hallways. I think the cold weather may be the reason: the insulated windows mean rooms stay closed most of the time. Staff responded to requests, but their tone felt formal and not very warm. When I asked for an extra blanket, it came without a cover, which seemed careless. It’s functional and well located for a short stay, but I wouldn’t expect luxury or a particularly welcoming feel.
