Nimbus Baga Beach Resort

I've stayed at several high-end places in Goa, and this is the best stay I've had. The hospitality was something else, including the guards, so thanks to every staff member and a special shout-out to them. The food, stay and ambience were all on point. Highly recommend planning a visit, you'll cherish it. Good show!

The team made me feel valued throughout the stay. Rahul and Mahima at reception were friendly, efficient and quick to help, and check-in and communication were easy. Rajib, Goyna and Jagannath from housekeeping kept the room immaculate and neatly arranged. Mayank in the kitchen deserves a mention for the fresh, flavorful food and good quality. At Foxoso Aristo Resort,Baga beach, the location was convenient for getting around and exploring, while still quiet enough to relax. The hotel felt warm and welcoming, with an elegant atmosphere. My room was spotless, with comfortable bedding, a pleasant fragrance and thoughtful details. The meals had plenty of choice and were delicious. Everything from the comfort and ambience to the hospitality made this a memorable stay. I'd gladly recommend it and look forward to coming back.

The cottages and grounds look good, but the atmosphere felt shady and the place didn't feel suitable for families. My teenager wanted us to switch resorts, but we'd already paid a lot for two days, so we stayed and the holiday mood was ruined. In the afternoon the AC didn't work properly, and it got very hot. The main gate security person was often missing, so we had to open the gate ourselves to take out or bring in the car. When I complained, the manager said, "madam ko bahot ghussa aata hai......" The staff seemed untrained, and I've never seen such cheap behavior. We had gone with our teenage child and were not given an extra bed. Instead they put a mattress on the floor beside ours. I said we'd paid for three people, counting our daughter as an adult, and asked why the arrangement was so poor. They told us to book another room. The room was too small for a family anyway, especially with a floor mattress taking up the little space for our luggage. If you're traveling with young kids, you'd need another room too. The resort is very small, with only a few cottages. It's not directly on the beach: you have to cross a road and walk between shacks to get there, and it's quite far. Half the food menu wasn't available. High tea was a joke, just some cookies, a stale dry cupcake and tea from a flask. Breakfast was okay. This place made our holiday bitter. You can save yourself the same experience. I don't know who's giving it 4 or 5 stars.

The cottages are lovely and well kept, and the staff were hospitable and helpful throughout. The pools were another highlight, cleaned daily and kept in great condition. The breakfast spread had a wide range of choices each day, and the price felt reasonable for the quality and amenities. You're right in front of Baga Beach, with Tito’s Lane just a short walk away. That puts the beach, nightlife and local market all within easy reach. A great choice if you want all of that in Goa. Highly, highly recommended!
