Deer roam all over the property, which sits in lovely natural surroundings. Its interior location, set back from the road, is wonderful. We stayed in the spacious, neat Elephant Bunglows, furnished in a mix of traditional and modern styles. Some maintenance could be better, though nothing major. The food was excellent, especially for South Indian tastes, and the staff were courteous.

The resort is well maintained and looks good, with a splendid setting among the forest. We loved it overall. The food could have tasted better. We understand that offering lots of variety may be difficult in such a remote place, but snacks should be available throughout the day, from morning to evening.

We had a good short family getaway at Country Club Wildlife Resort Bandipur. The quiet natural setting was lovely, and with almost no mobile network it was easy to disconnect. Deer, hens, and ducks wander around, which kids will enjoy. The pool was in good shape and relaxing, and the meals included in our package had a decent range and tasted good. Service could be better, and our room wasn’t as clean as we expected. The natural surroundings and ambience made up for that somewhat. A peaceful weekend option for families, as long as you don’t expect top-notch service.

The location is excellent and the rooms are spacious. With better upkeep, especially around cleanliness and in-room facilities, this could have been perfect. Service needs an overall lift too. The place has plenty of potential to improve.

I spent a couple of days here with my wife. The location was good, and the food was amazing. The morning tea delivered to the doorstep was a lovely day starter. The rooms and amenities need a lot of work, though. The rooms weren’t clean, looked old, and were missing basic facilities.
