We found plenty of space for parking, enjoyed homely food, and liked the old British-style accommodation. The complex covers 4 acres, and Aaram really does feel like a perfect relaxing point. It’s a lovely place to unwind a little away from town. From here, three different roads lead to great sites to visit while in mahabaleshwar. It was also a fun surprise to discover that my friend’s son and my son are friends, a friendship between two generations.
We spent two nights here on our trip to mahabaleshwar. It’s a very quiet, clean area, and there’s a Ganesh temple nearby. The main market is just a 5-minute walk away, and there’s lots of parking, including space right beside or in front of your room. The rooms were clean and neat too. Rates are reasonable, the owner is good, and the supportive staff put in effort. If you like a very quiet stay and old-style buildings, this is a must-go place.
I’ve been coming to Aaram for more than 2 decades, on solo trips, with family, and with large groups. It’s easy to fall for the location, and if you enjoy old architecture, the rooms have high ceilings and skylights. Each season brings a different kind of charm. For time away, I want peace, quiet, natural scenery, and tasty, authentic food. You get all of that here.
There’s lots of space, the rooms are clean, and the property is in a prime spot, just a 5 min walk from the main market. The staff is limited, but they make an effort to provide good service.
If you enjoy quaint places, this is a good spot. It has an old-world charm, sits in a very prime location, is extremely affordable, and is managed well.
