Amber Inn

The manager is a really nice lady, and the location has plenty of places to eat nearby. This isn’t a typical hotel, but I had a very good stay. My room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Anthony was there to help with everything and also made breakfast.

The breakfast was a real plus, good quality and healthy. Amber Inn is in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants, yet the lane itself is quiet and leads into a residential area. It worked well for travelers and families. The owner spends time at the property, and the upkeep reflects that. Staff were professional and well trained. I’d highly recommend Amber Inn for the service and standards they maintain.

The room was on the small side for the price, and there’s no lift, so that cost it a star. Still, we had a good stay as a family. Our standard room was clean and maintained, with AC, TV, and a geyser. Breakfast was complimentary, served on time, and tasted good. No rats, despite what one Google Reviews guest had mentioned. The hotel is in Indira Nagar, one of Bangalore’s best areas to stay. There’s a kitchen where they prepare food to order, though no restaurant attached, and plenty of good places to eat nearby.

The reservation process needs serious improvement. I booked on Airbnb but didn’t get the room I’d paid for. Management acknowledged the mistake right away and promised to refund the difference. Aside from that, Amber Inn suits my work trips well. It’s small and cozy, centrally located, with good restaurants nearby and reasonable travel times to most places around Bangalore. They provide good service, including breakfast and laundry. I’d recommend it for short stays in Bangalore, except for that booking issue.
