They charged for water after giving us six small bottles. A surprise, especially in summer when people naturally drink more. The TV and lift weren’t working either. At night they knocked and told us to use less electricity because the bills were getting high, but that’s not the customer’s problem when we’ve paid the full amount. Charging everyone in full with no discounts and then providing poor service was really unexpected.

Parking is limited to a gated area with room for only two or three bikes. Cars have to be left on the street at our own risk, so car parking is difficult. It also took some effort to find the hotel the first time, and Google’s pin was wrong. The room wasn’t maintained to standard, and during my three-day stay there was no housekeeping or cleaning, not even on alternate days. The toilet was especially bad: its seat sits under the washbasin, making it awkward to use, ventilation is poor, and the walls and floor were covered in dirt and limescale. The TV cable didn’t work, and they didn’t fix it after I reported it. Electrical sockets were hanging out beside the bed, which felt dangerous. It seemed that online bookings were assigned the lowest-grade rooms.

I had a great three-day stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the AC was in very good condition, and the receptionist was polite enough. Room service was amazing, and the generator came in handy during power cuts. The only bad part was getting the same breakfast every day, with no variety on the menu. It’s in a residential area, with no shops nearby.

The rooms had no privacy, with residential houses attached on both sides of the hotel, and the desk staff were really rude. We also had to ask repeatedly for basics like drinking water and toiletries. It’s in a disappointing location, hard to reach from main roads or public transport. There are lots of other options at this price, so I’d choose somewhere else.
