The bathroom was filthy, the blankets were soiled, and cigarette butts were scattered around the room. We booked online expecting a straightforward stay, but were asked for extra money twice after arriving. The manager was rude, unapologetic, and kept shouting at midnight, disturbing our sleep. He was very loud and needs professional training. It’s shocking that a hotel operates with so little regard for hygiene and guest comfort. This was one of our bitterest stays, and we’re still upset about it. Please don’t stay here unless hygiene improves and staff, including the manager, get proper hospitality training. The service was appalling. The staff need to change and the hotel’s standards need a serious overhaul. Find a better-managed place.

No towels or drinking water, and the TV didn’t work. The receptionist was harsh and aggressive, swore at customers who booked online, and threatened them. They treat guests terribly. Pathetic stay at a dreadful lodge. After so many complaints, why does Oyo still list it? I’d never recommend booking here.

I came from Mumbai with my husband, but the person at reception refused to give us a room because of our religion. He said outright that he wouldn’t give rooms to people from a particular background. He also tried to get extra money under the table. There was no respect or basic courtesy, just discrimination and an attempt to cheat us. This is shameful, unethical, and, in my view, illegal. Places like this should be reported and banned. Avoid it completely.

We had to wait an hour at the front desk, with no apology, and staff were rude and no help. They also made us pay extra for things that were already part of the booking. The room smelled foul and was disgusting, with stained carpets and dirty sheets. The worst hotel experience I’ve had. I won’t stay here again. Avoid it.

The place was a waste, and the receptionist swore at customers. Agoda had already received my full payment, but I was still made to pay another 500 rupees for no reason. This hotel should be blacklisted. Once I reach Kolkata, I’ll send the hotel and receptionist a court notice.
