Champion Prince by OYO Rooms

I booked a classic room on @agoda app and it showed as available. Once I’d booked, they said there were no classic rooms left and wanted another 600 for an AC room. Don’t go here, they’re scammers.

I can’t give less than one star, even though that’s what this deserves. I booked on Agoda for 1000, then they charged me an extra 800. It feels like a scam, and the room was in awful shape. There was no water, AC, soap, or towel, so I have no idea what they charged 1800 for.

The room layout is a problem too. With the three-bed option, you can’t open the restroom door, and the entrance to the rooms is squeezed between two people sleeping. There isn’t even water in the room, apparently. If you have a car, don’t plan to head out in the morning. There’s a shandy then, and people howl like crazy. It’s a disaster.

The rooms were bad, with fungus on the beds and pillows, and I ended up paying extra to stay there. I booked on OYO for 700, but they demanded 1800 when I arrived. I’d chosen it because it was near Yelahanka station, so we walked there carrying all our luggage. The receptionist then refused check-in, saying they had no OYO tie-up, and told us to contact OYO customer care. When customer care called the reception, nobody picked up. OYO eventually cancelled my booking, leaving us with no other choice but to pay more and stay. It was a big scam.
