I’d prepaid, and my booking clearly listed 12 PM check-in. I had to be at the office by 10 AM for a professional commitment, so I reached the hotel at 7 AM to freshen up first. The receptionist, a North Indian guy, said their check-in was at 11 AM. He confirmed a room was available but demanded ₹500 for early check-in, though that charge wasn’t mentioned in the booking or hotel rules. It felt completely unfair and unprofessional. The room itself had a broken bathroom tap, a flush that didn’t work, no water at the washbasin, and no mug. The bedsheet hadn’t been washed and seemed reused from the previous guest, and the room smelled bad. The door lock also barely worked. It took almost two minutes to lock or unlock, which was unsafe and extremely inconvenient. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and I don’t recommend the place.

The rooms smelled damp and the bathrooms were unhygienic. I checked out within a few hours of checking in and moved to a nearby hotel. A horrible stay.

We booked a deluxe AC room and paid in full at check-in, but it was small and cramped. The towels and bedsheets looked far from white, very old and worn, with holes, and the AC wasn’t working properly. We left two days early despite having paid in full. I handed the key to the main person at reception and asked if anything else was due; he said no. After we got home, I posted a negative review that was truthful. Some time later, the hotel emailed demanding ₹313 as service tax. Getting that request only after we were home and had posted the review felt immature. I’m totally disappointed.

The room and property were clean, and the rooms were good. Staff were nice, and the Wi-Fi worked very well.

The room was dirty and smelled awful, with unwashed sheets and towels. I also ended up paying twice for early check-in. The person at Fabhotels took extra money when I called the hotel number listed on Google, but at Royal Comfort hotel they said they had no record of that payment and made me pay again. I didn't have time to find somewhere else, and the number that took the first payment never answered when I called. A really bad experience with Fabhotels. Don't trust the hotel photos, they look fake.
