Grand view hotel

I left my power bank in the room and returned the next day to ask about it. Staff kept telling me to come back for 3 days, then on the third day said they couldn’t find it and claimed they had searched. The response felt very negligent and irresponsible. The room was unclean, the restroom flush didn’t work, and staff were arrogant and unprofessional with guests. A very disappointing experience.

Staff were rude and arrogant, and after 10 PM some of them seemed drunk, which made me feel unsafe. It felt as though the room had been handed over without proper cleaning after the previous guest checked out. There were cockroaches everywhere, the room was extremely dirty, and the bedsheets clearly hadn’t been changed. They had blood stains, as did the walls. The washroom smelled terrible and looked completely uncleaned. One of my worst hotel stays, with highly irresponsible management and very poor hygiene.

The staff were helpful, but the property needs better upkeep. I found a cockroach in the room, and the bathroom should be cleaned more often. It was also unexpected to be charged for water: we got just 1 bottle for an 8-day stay and were told to pay extra for more. A fairly ok stay, with room to improve. I hope this helps future stays.

I paid in full through Goibibo, believing the booking was confirmed, but staff demanded extra charges when I arrived. I felt I had no choice but to pay because I’d already checked in and had no alternative then. It seemed unfair and unprofessional, and there was no transparency. The reservation staff never told me about early check-in charges. We arrived and checked in after 9 AM, not before 6 AM. We wouldn’t have booked if these unclear or hidden charges had been disclosed. I have the booking details and can verify everything with proper documents. Please check the facts before making false public statements. That kind of response is misleading and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you still book, confirm all charges beforehand.
